February 7th Rd 3 State XC Series

The Bgo club will be running the 3rd Rd of the State XC Series on the 7th February at Brians/Scottys track, Heritage Rd Sedgwick.
A GPS of the track will be put up soon.
Racing starts for all categories at 10.30am rego from
Practice on Saturday 6th 3.00 - 7.00pm and Sunday 7.00 - 9.30am.
Registration 8.00am - 9.30am on the Sunday.
As it is a new track with some challenging sections, I would suggest all riders arrive in time to do a practice lap.
$40 Entry for adults $20 for juniors (with a MTBA licence or $15 day licence).


All categories start at 10.30 with approx 3min between each category starting

Prizes
Category winners will receive a Bendigo club riders entry voucher and product (cash for elite), there will be spot prizes handed out on the day, including free entries to the Bendigo 2010 6hr. $10 of each riders entry will go into a state series "kitty" that is split up among series winners.

Please note that if the day is a total fire ban or code red day the race will be cancelled.

TRACK DIRECTIONS

From Bendigo at the Fountain in the middle of Bendigo (where the tramlines are), head up Mitchell St past the Bendigo Mall and past Moroni’s Bikes (on you right), over the railway overpass, the railway station is on your right. Travel for 4 km you come to the Bendigo Cemetery which is on your right, halfway past the cemetery turn left onto Spring Gully Rd (sign posted to Sutton Grange). Travel on this road for approx 16km (turns in to Sedgwick Rd) past the Spring Gully shop on right 2km, Bendigo Retirement Village 3km, Mandurang 6km, Sedgwick  turn left approx 7km past Mandurang oval turn left into heritage Rd. Travel to the end of Heritage Rd (2km) last gate on your right. 

From Melbourne:

Travel on Calder Freeway at the end of the Malmsbury /Taradale Bypass take the left hand turn signposted to Castlemaine off freeway, turn right towards Sutton Grange. Travel for approx 32km  turn right Heritage Rd. Travel to the end of Heritage Rd (2km) last gate on your right.
