MTB Bendigo 6hr

Round 5 of the VES series sponsored by Bendigo Cycles and Skratch labs 6/3hr will be held on September 13th at 5242 Calder Highway Big Hill at Andy's MTB trailnetwork, with a stack of varying entry levels that will suit first time mountain bikers through to serious podium finishers. We are excited to be holding the event on a new track with differing terrain, heaps of berms and wooden features and arguably the most scenic views, you don't want to miss this one. More details are coming up soon so keep checking our website and facebook. In the mean time why not pencil the 6hr in your diary today.

You can pre-register for a club event by filling in the pre-registration form prior to the event. Please note you must pre-register the day before the club race otherwise your registration information may not be downloaded in time to be recorded into the timing system.

This form is not to be used for the GTE or Bendigo six hour events.

Winter Series

Winter series races for 2016 are different to previous years - we have joined the Interwinter series instead and have added in some fun extras such as Social Rides and our very first Womens specific event. We are encouraging our members to broaden their MTB horizons by riding in some other great locations across Central Victoria. Keep an eye on the home page calendar for key dates!

Women's Skills Sessions

Our club run women's skills sessions are continuing to build momentum even though we seem to be heading into the depths of winter! Jo has put on two sessions now and is really pleased with how they have been received so far.
‘It is clear everyone has enjoyed being out with other women and evidently feel confident enough to challenge themselves within this supportive small group environment’
The sessions are currently aimed at beginner to intermediate levels. Within the sessions Jo has touched on a range of fundamental skills; riding positions - climbing and descending, braking, cornering and maintenance of general flow when riding. The sessions have been conducted on our local Spring Gully Trail Network, using sections of trail that are all easily located.

Dates for upcoming skills sessions:
Sunday June 21st
Sunday July 26th
Sunday August 9th

The session runs for 2 hours from 9-11am and costs $20 per person, max of 6 women per session. If you are interested in taking part in any of the above sessions please get in touch with Jo at to register your interest.
