Bendigo Mountain Bike Club Annual General Meeting.

 

When: Monday 9 October, 6:30pm – 8:30pm

It is that time of the year again when we need to elect our general committee to see the club through the coming 12 months. All 4 executive positions on the committee will be open and further 10 general committee positions need to be filled. We have had a fantastic and busy 2016/17 and have achieved a huge amount of work. Come along and hear an update on what has been achieved and what is in store for next 12 months.

 

Attending the AGM doesn’t mean you will end up on the committee, we encourage as many as possible to come along, join us for some food and drinks and let us know what you would like to see from the club.

 

Through the year, the general committee meets once a month for 2 hours in the evening. We appreciate not all are able to make it to every meeting but being available for most and being part of the committee, contributing toward a strong club through feedback on issues, putting ideas and thoughts forward is both rewarding and of a huge support to the club. Roles spread across the committee that we will be looking to fill following election of a committee are generally covered below:

Womens Co-ordinator, Junior Co-ordinator, Membership Officer, 2WA Manager and Assistant Manager, Trail Development Co-ordinator, Asset Manager (Trailers, Tools, Containers), Events (GTE Manager, 6hr Manager, Summer Series Manager, Interwinter Manager), Grants Officer, Coaching and Development Officer, Social Co-ordinator.

 

The club will be catering, drinks and finger food provided on evening.
